DESCRIPTION:Overview  \nThe two-day RYA powerboat level 2 course provides
  the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is th
 e basis of the International Certificate of Competence. \n\nLed by our ex
 perienced instructors and undertaken on the wonderful Cleddau Estuary\, th
 e RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course will teach you how to handle a powerboat sa
 fely and includes close quarters handling\, planing speed manoeuvres\, man
  overboard recovery and collision regulations.\nAssumed knowledge      
       \nNone.\nMinimum duration  \n2 days.\nCourse content\n\nLaunch
 ing and recovery\, boat handling\, securing to a buoy\, anchoring\, leavin
 g and coming alongside\, man overboard\, safety and buoyage\, IRPCS.\nAbil
 ity after the course \nSelf-sufficient power boater in the right conditio
 ns\, aware of own limitations and those of craft.  Additionally\, the Pow
 erboat Level 2 Certificate can be commercially provided the following addi
 tional certificates are held:\n\nVHF Short Range Certificate\n\nValid Firs
 t Aid Certificate\n\nRYA Basic Sea Survival Certificate\n\nOnline Professi
 onal Practices and Responsibilities Certificate\n\nMedical Certificate (ML
