About The Course
The RYA Dinghy Instructor is an experienced sailor, able to sail in strong winds and a qualified powerboat handler to RYA Powerboat Level 2, who has successfully completed a sailing test (the pre-entry test) and an instructor training course. Instructors must be qualified for the type of boat in which they will be teaching, although Dinghy Instructors can broaden their qualification to include keelboats/multihulls and vice versa. The instructor certificate is endorsed accordingly.
The PPSA will conduct DI Courses at your RYA Recognised Training Centre provided you have a minimum of 4 potential instructors to attend the course (a maximum of 6).
