RYA/MCA Advanced Powerboat Certificate of Confidence Exam

Overview –

The RYA/MCA Advanced Powerboat Certificate of Competence exam is a

practical test of skippering ability by day and night in the type of craft

applicable to the National Powerboat Scheme (sports boats, RIBs, dories

and launches and other boats that don’t provide accommodation and

cooking facilities)

 

Detailed information about the syllabus, duration, assumed knowledge,

certification required and on completion how to get your certificate

commercially endorsed, if needed can be found here.

 

 

Boat Charter for RYA/MCA Advanced Powerboat CofC Exam

PPSA manages a Coded Vessel suitable for exams which can be chartered for this

purpose and comes fully equipped.  Prices are variable depending on the number

of candidates per exam.
