About The RYA National Sailing and Powerboat Scheme Instructor Courses

The RYA ‘Method’ known to every dinghy instructor has stood the test of time with few modifications and remains as effective today as it was at its inception.  The techniques and progressions that make up the method along with the many other skills and knowledge required by RYA Instructor are imparted  during a number of progressive courses.

PPSA is able to deliver all of the Powerboat Scheme Instructor courses and the Keelboat Instructor and Instructor Endorsements from the National Sailing Scheme at its centre.

PPSA no longer delivers dinghy sailing at its centre at Neyland Yacht Haven, but it’s Chief Instructor is able to travel to other RYA Centres in the Region to deliver the range of instructor courses.  Successful completion of the course can be the starting point to a career in the watersports industry.  That can  be within the UK or worldwide, wherever there are RYA Training Centres.

Please call the centre for more details if you like a challenge and are thinking of entering the watersports industry
