Powerboat Offers and Packages from PPSA
See below for a few money saving offers and combined packages provided by PPSA to enhance your on water experiences. Click on the image for more details of each indivdual course. Click on the button to get the offer price.
For those individuals who intend to work on the water, PPSA can put together a package that will allow you to apply for a commercial endorsement to your powerboat level 2 qualification. This commercially endorsed PB2 certificate will allow you to work up to 3 nautical miles to sea from a nominated departure point (also depending on the coding of your vessel).
To commercially endorse your PB2 you will require:
- Your Powerboat Level 2 (Helm) certificate.
- The VHF Short Range Certificat (SRC).
- A relevant, MCA recognised First Aid Certificate.
- The Basic RYA Sea Survival Certificate
- The Professional Practices and Responsibilites Certificate.
- An ML5 Medical Certificate from your GP or MCA approved doctor
- The application form to the RYA.
This combination of courses will allow you to plan for and execute longer passages safely in daylight in coastal waters
For more experienced powerboat helms, this combination of courses will give you the knowledge to plan and execute night passages in unfamiliar waters as the skipper.
