About The Professional Practices and Responsibilities Course
The Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR) online and interactive training course. It’s for commercial users in the marine environment. It explains the professional maritime world. It includes the correct manning of commercial vessels, keeping skills up to date and the safe management of commercial vessels.
It will inform the users of the compulsory carriage and maintenance of safety equipment and creating and implementing risk control measures.
Assumed Knowledge
No previous knowledge is required.
Duration
This is an online course that will take between 8 – 10 hours.
On Completion
On completion you will understand your duty of care and legal responsibilities to crew, passengers and other water users.
Course Dates
This course is studied entirely on-line. It can be studied at dates and times to suit you.
