The RYA NSS in Keelboats
The RYA NSS in Keelboats (National Sailing Scheme) has been designed to help you enjoy this aspect of the sport that appeals to you. Sailing is a fantastic and diverse sport, with activities to suit everyone. All the courses in the Scheme can be taken in a dinghy, keelboat or multihull so you can have tuition in whatever type of boat you wish.
The Right Sailing Course For You
The reputation of the RYA National Sailing Scheme has been built on high standards and good tuition. As an RYA Training Centre, PPSA is no exception to this and leads the delivery of RYA Sailing Courses in SW Wales. All the courses of the RYA National Sailing Scheme can be completed in just two days, or spread over a series of sessions covering a period of 16 hours. PPSA can be flexible and can offer courses during the evenings or half-day sessions if required.
The National Sailing Scheme in Keelboats is an introduction to the sport in our Beneteau First Class 8 covering the minimum knowledge required to get afloat under supervision
This course will give you the basic skills and build your confidence in order to be able to sail on all points of sailing without the need for an instructor to be with you.
This improver course seeks to bridge the gap between Start Sailing, Basic Skills and the five Advanced Modules. It offers an introduction to the different modules, allowing sailors to better select their preferred route within the sport.
Following the basics of Levels 1 and 2 and improver Level 3 of the National Sailing Scheme in keelboats there is a choice of courses to enable you to pursue whichever part of the sport you wish.
