Anyone seeking to gain an RYA Advanced Powerboat/Yachtmaster Certificate of Competence requires a broad theoretical knoweledge base and a significant practical skill.
The RYA Yachtmaster Theory Course containts some revision of the Day Skipper shorebased course plus more advanced skills in offshore & coastal navigation by day & night, pilotage & meteorology.
