About the Course
This RYA Keelboat Sailing with Spinnakers Course is one of the Advanced Modules from the National Sailing Scheme. This 2 day course is led by our experienced team of instructors who will teach you all you need to know about sailing with a Symmetric Spinnaker in a Keelboat. Based on the wonderful Cleddau Estuary, you’ll be taught how to rig the boat for a 3rd sail (spinnaker) and to, hoist, gybe and recover it. You’ll learn how to sail the best possible course downwind using the the PPSA Beneteau First Class 8 – Valkyrie
Assumed Knowledge
You’ll be expected to have the sailing background and knoweldge to RYA National Sailing Scheme Level 2 (Basic Skills) or above in Keelboats to attend this Keelboat Sailing with Spinnakers course.
After the course
You’ll be able to use an symmetric spinnaker in a keelboat.
